Regardless of your time here at Panama Methodist Church, this assessment is designed to help you identify and understand your most current qualities and Spiritual Gifts, to assist you in discovering your God-given purpose.
Church is not just something we do, it’s who we are. We are not a building, we are a body. Our church is made up of people, volunteers, and staff who work together to achieve our shared goal. When we live in community, we reflect God. You weren’t designed to do life alone, this a great step toward connecting with others, serving God and feeling whole.

What is S.H.A.P.E. ?
The acronym stands for Spiritual Gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, and Experiences.
Spiritual gifts are not mere human talents or acquired skills. Rather, they are divinely enabled abilities intended for the service of others. “To each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good” (1 Corinthians 12:7). These gifts remind believers that, while there is diversity within the body of Christ, the ultimate goal is unity and edification under God.
Heart - as we better understand our passions & desires, we also gain valuable insight into ways we can find fulfillment and make a meaningful impact.
Abilities - when we recognize and hone in our unique abilities, it becomes easier to play an active role in the church and community.
Personality - in knowing our personality type with its unique traits and characteristics, it enables us to work more effectively in teams. This portion of the test focuses on understanding one's temperament, preferences, and communication style.
Experiences - our ups and downs through life equip us with individual insights and empathy for others. These things greatly affect how we connect with others to offer help, hope, encouragement and more.
